Sira Privacy Policy
Effective date: 4/1/2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Sira (the “Service”), a product by Roboost (“Roboost”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you visit our website, create an account, or use Sira as a business user.
If you are using Sira on behalf of a company, “you” also includes that company.
1) What Sira does
Sira is a customer intelligence and reputation platform that can unify customer feedback from multiple sources, analyze it with AI, and help teams take action through workflows like incident ticketing, survey flows, and review replies.
2) Roles: when we are a controller vs a processor
A) Website visitors and Sira business users (Controller)
For data collected when you browse our website, request a demo, or create and manage your Sira account, Roboost is typically the data controller.
B) Customer feedback data your business connects to Sira (Processor)
When your organization connects sources (for example Google reviews, delivery apps, QR surveys, WhatsApp, email), Sira processes that data on your organization’s instructions. In this context, your organization is the controller, and Roboost is the processor.
If you are an end-customer (a reviewer) and want to exercise rights relating to a restaurant’s data, you should contact the restaurant or brand you interacted with, since they decide how your data is used in Sira.
3) Personal data we collect
A) Data you provide directly
Account and profile data: name, work email, phone, job title, company name, branch/location information.
Billing and contract data: billing contact details, invoices, payment status, subscription plan.
Support and communications: messages you send to support, sales, or via forms and chat.
B) Data collected automatically
Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages/screens viewed, timestamps, clicks, and diagnostic logs.
Cookies and similar technologies: to operate the website, remember preferences, and measure performance (see Section 10).
C) Data from connected sources and integrations (Customer feedback data)
Depending on what your organization connects and configures, Sira may process:
Public review content and metadata: review text, rating, timestamp, platform, location/branch, and any public profile information shown by the platform (for example reviewer display name and profile photo if available).
Survey responses and identifiers: survey answers, optional contact details if your organization requests them, branch, visit context, timestamps.
Operational context provided by your organization: store list, menu items, channels, internal teams, SLA rules, and routing rules used to create tickets and assign actions.
Sensitive data: Sira is not designed for collecting sensitive personal data (for example health data). If your organization chooses to collect it in free-text fields, it may be processed because it appears in the source text.
4) How we use personal data
We use personal data to:
Provide and operate the Service
Create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and provide core features.
Connect review sources and feedback channels as configured by your organization.
Analyze feedback and generate insights
Use AI to detect sentiment, topics, and recurring issues, and to surface trends by branch, channel, shift, day, or item.
Automate workflows you configure
Generate draft or automated review replies, and route incidents into tickets or tasks based on your rules.
Improve performance, safety, and reliability
Monitor usage, troubleshoot bugs, prevent abuse, and secure the platform.
Communicate with you
Respond to requests, provide onboarding and support, and share important service updates.
Comply with law
Meet legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
5) Legal bases (where applicable)
Depending on your jurisdiction, we rely on one or more of the following:
Contractual necessity: to provide Sira under our agreement with you.
Legitimate interests: to secure and improve the Service, prevent fraud, and understand usage.
Consent: for certain cookies/marketing where required, and where you opt in.
Legal obligations: to comply with applicable laws.
When we act as a processor, your organization determines the legal basis for processing customer feedback data.
6) AI and automated decision-making
Sira uses AI to classify feedback, detect topics, generate insights, and draft replies and actions. Outputs are produced based on patterns in the data and configurations provided by your organization.
Human oversight: Administrators can typically review, adjust, and approve configurations and responses based on your organization’s setup.
No guaranteed accuracy: AI outputs can be incorrect or incomplete. Your organization remains responsible for how outputs are used operationally.
7) How we share personal data
We may share personal data with:
Service providers (sub-processors): hosting, analytics, security monitoring, customer support tools, and other vendors that help us run the Service.
Integrations you enable: when you connect external platforms, data is exchanged with those platforms according to your configuration.
Roboost affiliates: for internal operations, security, and support.
Legal and compliance recipients: regulators, courts, or law enforcement when required by applicable law.
Business transfers: if we undergo a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell personal data.
8) International data transfers
Sira may process and store data in countries different from where you live or operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers (for example contractual protections and security measures).
9) Data retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, including:
Account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as required by law.
Customer feedback data according to your organization’s contract terms and configuration.
Logs and security records for a limited period necessary to maintain security and reliability.
If you are a business customer and want specific retention periods, this is typically defined in your contract or data processing terms.
10) Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
Keep the website working (for example session and security cookies).
Remember your preferences.
Measure website and product performance.
You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, our cookie banner or preferences center.
11) Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration. No system is 100% secure, but we work continuously to improve our safeguards.
12) Children’s privacy
Sira is intended for business use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
13) Your rights and choices
Rights vary by jurisdiction. Depending on where you are, you may have the right to:
Access, correct, or delete personal data
Object to or restrict processing
Request data portability
Withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent)
Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority
If you are an end-customer whose review or survey response appears in Sira: the restaurant or brand using Sira is usually the controller, so rights requests should be directed to them first.
